Don’t forget to bring in your WD-40s tomorrow.  I would love to see and hear about how you all are worshiping God throughout the week.  Also don’t forget that we (adults of Club Rock) are here to listen and pray for anything that you need.

Also don’t forget that you can still join in the Christmas Musical.  It meets in Club Rock on Sunday’s from 3:30pm-5pm.  Deb, Cheryl, and I would love for you to be apart of it.

And always remember you can bring friends to church.

I bet lots of you are excited because it is Friday?!?!  So my question for today for you is, what are you going to do this weekend?  Well I am on vacation in Georgia visiting my family.  I love seeing my family and spending time with them.   And then I will be singing in my dad’s church in Kentucky.  I want to hear about your weekend so please leave some comments to tell me.  Have a good one!!!

This year we have set Our goal for Operation Christmas Child to 100 boxes. So what you need to do is find a shoe box in your closet and then go out shopping with your mom or dad and fill the box with things for either a boy or girl. Then ask your parents to write a check for the required amount and then bring your box in. I know that we can do this guys and gals. Just think of all the children all over the world that your gift will touch. And to add an extra bonus pray over your box at home before you bring it in. And before we send them off we as a group of Club Rock will go and pray over all the boxes. Continue to pray and ask your parents to help you with this mission to help children your age. Just think about how happy you are when you receive

a gift. Now look at how they feel. Even though you are on different sides on the world you both feel the same. Don’t forget God wants us to Love Him and Love Others.

ARE YOU READY 4th & 5th GRADERS??????  Well I’m ready for you!!! The 2nd Annual Night of Extremes’ is Nov 9th & 10th from 8pm-8am in Club Rock.  This year is going to be extremely fun and full of surprises.  Don’t forget to bring a friend!!! I hope you can survive the night.  Tell your parents to write it on your calendars!!!

I hope you are all doing well with your WD-40s this week.  Believe me I know how hard it is to spend time with God.  Sometimes I find myself so busy with planning things for all of you but I know that I wouldn’t be able to make it through the day if I didn’t have God.  I need my time with God everyday to stay focused.  What is your favorite way to worship God?  I have found that my favorite way is to listen to music and draw.  I find that I feel very close to God during this time.  Also do you guys have a favorite place in your house, where you spend time with God?  I do….it’s in this big brown chair I have.  I call it my sacred place, this is where I meet with God in my house.  Whenever I am sad, happy, or any type of emotion I speak with God here.   If you guys don’t have a sacred place…..it would be a good idea to get one.

This event is going to be so much fun.  Make sure you all invite your friends and neighbors.  Think about reaching out to people you wouldn’t normally talk to.  It is important to get them and their families to the church even if it is in the parking lot.  This event is going to have goodies for you guys and gals.  Where else can you go and get goodies from like 25 cars at once.  So remember Oct 31st, 6:30-8:30pm in MCC parking lot….see you all there.
