Our Goal in Club Rock is 1000 eggs.  And the church goal is 9000 eggs.  Well for club rock we have brought in 419 eggs!!! Good job so far….but keep them coming.  Total eggs the whole church has brought in is …….drum roll please…………1482 eggs!!! Keep up it up!!! Remember this Easter Egg Hunt is for the whole community.

Three exciting events are happening for you in March.  On March 9th at MCC from 2:30-5pm we are having a Coloring Easter Egg party.  All you need to bring is your family and some eggs to Color.  I will have dye, and other art supplies to decorate the eggs.  I will have have some snacks and drinks.  This is one of my favorite things to do at Easter and I want to spend it with you guys.

Then on March 14th  from 7-9pm it is GIRL’s NIGHT!! This is a night for the girls only, sorry guys.  This is going to be a night of fellowship and fun at Lori Fox’s house.  There is going to be a sign up sheet in the Connection Center.  We are going to eat, play games, and do some other exciting events.

Lastly on March 22nd starting at 1pm at the Wabash Valley Fair Grounds we are having a huge Easter Egg Hunt.  Tell everyone you know and make sure that you and everyone you knows shows up to hunt 20,000 Easter Eggs.  This event is going to be the largest Easter Egg Hunt event that the Wabash Valley has ever seen.  Also remember that we (MCC) are collect plastic eggs for the event, oure goal is 9,000 eggs.  In Club Rock we set a goal of 1,000 eggs so bring those eggs in.  Also don’t forget that the entire event is FREE!!!!!

I hope to see you at all these events…..but boys I don’t want to see you at the Girls Night, sorry!!!

Hello, everyone!  I just want you to know that last night when some of us delivered Valentines the Residents really loved them.  I hope you are all having a great Valentines Day.  Don’t forget that God Loves You everyday! He loves you just the way that you are.  He made every inch of you special from your hairs on your head down to your fingerprints.  His heart grows for you every minute.  He smiles upon you and laughs with you.  Remember that He is always there no matter what.

Let’s grow……I want you all to know that you are the kingdom of God.  And that He wants you to do great things now not tomorrow, not next week, not in a month, but right now….. He LOVES YOU!!! Remember to pray and continue to read from the sword (your bible).  God will show you the plans he has for your life.

You’re All Invited to the Showplace 12 at 2:10pm to see “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything.” (the newest Veggie Tale movie)  This will be a time of fun and bonding with other club rockers and new club rockers.  Remember this is another way for us to come together to Love God and Love Each Other.  So remember to bring money for your ticket, invite a friend, and also invite your family to see this movie with you.  I will be seeing you soon.

Club Rock and You.  Remember that Club Rock is for you.  It is to help you learn how to Love God and Love Others.  Also it is for us to learn how to live our life ON the Rock FOR the Rock and THROUGH the Rock.  So in this new coming year….don’t forget to do your WD-40s, which are daily types of worship with God.   And enjoy some monthly fellowship with each other with the upcoming events.  So mark them on your calendar.  And lets make this year….a year that we follow and worship God and we grow closer together.

What is your favorite thing about thankgiving?  Do you like the food, family, watching the parade, or is it all three.  No matter what you do… it is always fun to be with family and eat of course.  I just want to remind to give thanks to the Lord for everything He does for you.  Also remember that He blesses you everyday not only on Thanksgiving.  So from me to you here is some thanks.  I thank the Lord each day for each one of you.  I am so thankful to see each of your smiling faces each week. I hope you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving!

Encounter 228 is a time for children to come and get connected with God in a new way.  We meet on Wednesday nights and it is not ever week.  Last two for the year will be November 28th and December 5th.  The start time is 7pm and only goes for an hour.  Your parents are more then welcome to stick around for Encounter 228 or regular Encounter (adult).  What I have found most about Encounter 228 that helps me is to see how God leads you guys and gals in how to worship him.  The main goal of Encounter 228 is a place for you guys to lead in the church through prayer and worship.  Also I don’t know if you guys know but the number 228 is from the scripture Joel 2:28 “After that, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.  Your sons and daughters will prophesy.  Your old men will have dreams.  Your young men will have visions.”  (NIrV)

There are many different ways to pray.  Well I have found that my favorite way to pray is to lay down anywhere from the carpet in my living room to outside on the grass.  While I’m laying on the ground and find myself at peace and staring up to God.  I have found this very relaxing.  I think  you guys should try this.  Just think about the times that you get upset and mad well just stop what you doing and lay down.  Take a couple of deep breaths and be silent.  Soon you will be so relaxed that you will be able to focus on God and see what He has to say about the situation.

This is a form of Worship and Devotion to God.  And also it is very simple to do and doesn’t take much to do for those of you who are too busy.

Night of Extremes is being Cancelled!! So sorry guys but it is just going to be better if we push this back to 2008.  So spread the word please!!
